Inverclyde rent price soars

Private sector rental prices in Inverclyde rise higher than the Scottish average of 10%.

Rent prices in Inverclyde have risen to £742pcm as of last month, according to the Office of National Statistics.

This comes as the increase for rental properties is at an all time high with many opting for renting over home owning. Evidence shows this is due to the difficulty first time buyers are experiencing getting on the property ladder with the increase of interest rates. In addition, many are also renting due to the preferring the full rental experience when it comes to repairs and maintenance of the property.
